ADVANCED CR CARE

Optimize outcomes for FESS and balloon sinuplasty

Protect surgical outcomes, reduce symptoms and improve patient QoL3,4 by adding NEUROMARK® to FESS and balloon sinuplasty procedures.

Explore Neuromark Technology

Many Patients with Chronic Rhinosinusitis(CRS)
also suffer from Chronic Rhinitis (CR) 2

While FESS and balloon sinuplasty relieve obstruction, these procedures do not address the root cause of inflammation caused by overactive nerves.

NEUROMARK is an innovative, clinically proven procedure designed to safely target overactive posterior nasal nerves (PNN) using low-power energy, providing durable relief from persistent symptoms.

How NEUROMARK Works

At least 40% of CRS patients still have uncontrolled symptoms 3-5 years after surgery 3

NEUROMARK has shown significant symptom improvement for the symptoms that uncontrolled endoscopic
sinus surgery patients report, including rhinorrhea, congestion, and postnasal drip. 4

When to consider
adding NEUROMARK

NEUROMARK may be appropriate in patients whose symptoms are
not fully explained or resolved by standard sinus interventions.

Drainage or rhinorrhea are dominant complaints

Persistent congestion drives symptoms despite
appropriate sinus intervention

Symptoms feel out of proportion to CT findings

Revision surgery is planned and residual disease
doesn’t explain symptoms

Symptoms respond to ipratropium but recur when
treatment stops

Typical Patient Stories

NEUROMARK may be appropriate in patients whose symptoms are
not fully explained or resolved by standard sinus interventions.

CRS/FESS or balloon

Longstanding CRS

Failed meds, sprays, allergy management

Scheduled for FESS or balloon

POSSIBLE COMPLAINTS

“Postnasal drip is the worst part."

"Congestion and mucus never stop."

Surgical
Considerations

Sinus surgery restores airflow and drainage pathways

Mucus and congestion may persist

Risk of "good surgery, unhappy patient"

why plan for PNN

Drainage and congestion may be driven by overactive posterior nasal nerves

Planning PNN up front may help address
rhinitis-related symptoms that can persist after surgery

Low-risk adjunct during an already planned surgical event

Deviated septum

Deviated septum with turbinate hypertrophy

Constant congestion/runny nose

Often failed topical therapies

POSSIBLE COMPLAINTS

“I can’t breathe”

“I’m always stuffed up”

Surgical
Considerations

Septoplasty/turbinate reduction improves airflow

Mucus production and congestion may persist

Patient may breathe better but still feel symptomatic

why plan for PNN

Targets rhinitis-related symptoms driven by overactive posterior nasal nerves

Complements turbinate reduction by addressing a different contributor to symptoms

Aligns surgical plan with patient expectations

Balloon / limited sinus disease

Balloon candidate or limited ESS

CT does not fully explain symptoms

Often labeled “sinus,” but behaves like rhinitis

POSSIBLE COMPLAINTS

“I’m always congested/runny”

“I drip all the time”

Surgical
Considerations

Structural intervention alone may notresolve symptoms

High likelihood of rhinitis-driven complaints

Opportunity to address both anatomy andneural input

why plan for PNN

Targets rhinitis-related symptoms driven by overactive posterior nasal nerves

Complements balloon sinus procedures by addressing neural contributors to symptoms

Planning together may help avoid
second-procedure conversations

Frequently Asked Questions

The NEUROMARK System uses propriety ENTelligent technology™ to target the overactive posterior nasal nerves (PNN) that cause the symptoms of Chronic Rhinitis. NEUROMARK utilizes controlled low-energy radiofrequency (RF) to create precise micro-lesions at target sites.

The CLARITY clinical study shows statistically significant and clinically meaningful symptom improvements in patients who receive NEUROMARK, with an 80% responder rate for reflective Total Nasal Symptom Score (rTNSS) as defined by a 30% reduction from baseline at 12 months.

NEUROMARK is an option for both long-term and newly diagnosed allergic and nonallergic Chronic Rhinitis patients. In the PARAGON 6-month clinical study, both allergic and nonallergic subgroups experienced significant improvement in all study outcome measures (p<.001) with no significant differences between subgroups.¹²

Unlike medication, which requires compliance to a regular schedule¹⁰, or surgery, which can be invasive and has a long recovery period, NEUROMARK treats symptoms directly at the source in a gentle, minimally invasive procedure.

Patients with common symptoms of Chronic Rhinitis such as excessive sneezing, rhinorrhea, postnasal drip, or frequent congestion may be good candidates for treatment. By recognizing these symptoms right away, you can help treat the source with NEUROMARK.

MyMark™ reimbursement and support services are available to provide you with everything you need when it comes to reimbursement support, from prior authorization and appeals support to case updates and billing inquiries. Talk to your local Area Sales Manager to learn more about MyMark.
