Our Technology
Discover how the NEUROMARK System provides effective, long-term relief for Chronic Rhinitis through innovative radiofrequency (RF) technology
Technology Overview
NEUROMARK is designed to consistently provide easy access and treatment coverage, including of the posterior regions of the lateral nasal wall.
More Posterior Placement
Flexible leaflets conform to patient anatomy, maximizing access to nerve-rich areas in the nasal cavity even in challenging anatomies.
Maximal Treatment Coverage
Numerous microablation sites spread over a wide treatment area disrupt posterior nasal nerve (PNN) pathways while maintaining mucosal and vascular integrity.¹⁻³
Real-Time Feedback
Real-time apposition confirmation helps guide leaflet placement with immediate visual feedback, while Smart Algorithms help prevent over- or under-treatment.

The NEUROMARK Experience in 3D
Neurent Medical is pioneering innovative treatments for chronic inflammatory sino-nasal diseases by targeting and safely disrupting hyperactive autonomic nerves that drive underlying inflammation, so patients can breathe better and live better.
Posterior Nasal Nerves and Chronic Rhinitis
A peripheral branch of the vidian nerve, the posterior nasal nerve (PNN) is the dominant source of the parasympathetic, sympathetic, and sensory fibers that innervate the nasal respiratory mucosa.⁴
Medications used to treat CR, such as intranasal saline, intranasal corticosteroids, oral or topical decongestants, and others may temporarily relieve symptoms; however, they fail to address the neural source of nasal hypersecretion and many patients do not receive benefit from medical management alone.⁵
PNN ablation may induce denervation of the nasal mucosa and suppress nasal hypersecretion by blocking autonomic vidian nerve fibers — similar to vidian neurectomy — as well as hypersensitivity by simultaneously blocking sensory nerve fibers to relieve nasal symptoms.⁴

NEUROMARK Mechanism of Action
The NEUROMARK System consists of a single-use, hand-held bipolar RF device and a reusable console with a graphical user interface (GUI). The device features an electrode array at its tip, composed of multiple leaflets with bipolar electrode pairs, enabling discrete ablation sites to conform to the patient’s anatomy.
Under endoscopic guidance, the device is positioned in the nasal cavity, with its distal stage placed in the nasal choanae and the proximal stage in the middle meatus, targeting nerve-rich areas. Unlike other RF devices that rely on temperature control, the NEUROMARK System uses bioimpedance monitoring to adjust energy delivery based on tissue conductivity changes.
This approach ensures precise treatment by continuously assessing tissue conditions and adjusting the energy flow to each leaflet until the cycle is complete, maximizing therapeutic outcomes.

The NEUROMARK System uses propriety ENTelligent technology™ to target the overactive posterior nasal nerves (PNN) that cause the symptoms of Chronic Rhinitis. NEUROMARK utilizes controlled low-energy radiofrequency (RF) to create precise micro-lesions at target sites.
The CLARITY clinical study shows statistically significant and clinically meaningful symptom improvements in patients who receive NEUROMARK, with an 80% responder rate for reflective Total Nasal Symptom Score (rTNSS) as defined by a 30% reduction from baseline at 12 months.
NEUROMARK is an option for both long-term and newly diagnosed allergic and nonallergic chronic rhinitis patients. In the PARAGON 6-month clinical study, both allergic and nonallergic subgroups experienced significant improvement in all study outcome measures (p<.001) with no significant differences between subgroups.¹⁰
Unlike medication, which requires compliance to a regular schedule¹¹, or surgery, which can be invasive and has a long recovery period, NEUROMARK treats symptoms directly at the source in a gentle, minimally invasive procedure.
Patients with common symptoms of Chronic Rhinitis such as excessive sneezing, rhinorrhea, postnasal drip, or frequent congestion may be good candidates for treatment. By recognizing these symptoms right away, you can help treat the source with NEUROMARK.
MyMark™ reimbursement and support services are available to provide you with everything you need when it comes to reimbursement support, from prior authorization and appeals support to case updates and billing inquiries. Talk to your local Area Sales Manager to learn more about MyMark.
